Hi all,

workin on a G4 PowerBook (10.3) and using Entourage 10.1.4 (although I
have updated on 10.1.5, but it wont change from 10.1.4. to 10.1.5 in
the "about"-window). Problem: Everytime I want to create a new
calenderevent the minute digits are invisible (e.g.: 12: ) I cant
change them anymore. Anyone has the same problem? Do I have to remove
office and reinstall it? thanx for help!

1. Entourage and Word stay at 10.1.4, only Excel and PowerPoint advance to
10.1.5.

2. First try creating the event when if Day view. If still no good, you
could first try remove the Preferences. The easiest way is to quit all
Office apps, remove both [user]/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/ folder and
[user]/Library/Preferences/microsoft.com.entourage.plist and relaunch. If
that doesn't work then, yes, use Office Remover in Value Pack (install from
Office CD) to uninstall Office (it will leave your data alone), then
reinstall Office, and updaters 10.1.2, 10.1.4, (10.1.5).

Thank you for help! But unfortunately it didn't work, not even after
de- and reinstallation. I can't imagine why. The digits are still
invisible. However, I'm having a lot of bad experiences with Office X
(I start o believe that I've got a bad CD-ROM...) especially with Word
(non functioning dictionaries and a lot of crashes) and now also with
Entourage. Hopefully there will be soon a new Office package which
will solve all these problems.

Dear Flo
I have the same problem on TWO computers after installing Panther. I
am really disappointed about Microsoft products since I had the same
experiences with Word. I do support for 4 macs of friends and I start to
get nuts with "deleting /librarar....prefs and stuff like that.
Now this bug just tops it of. THE mighty powerful agenda of MS does
not take new appointments anymore. They are invisible in any view,
however can be found with the find command.
Will anyone of Microsoft please SOOOOON post a reply. I have this
problem on two Ibook G3 800mhz and PB G4 1Ghz, running
Panter10.3 updated, Office update 10.1.5 and it really HAS to be
solved....
Yours
