I am trying to show milestone relationships on a cross functional flowchart
with 10 functional bands (horizontal). So as to keep the chart from being
overly busy, I've added timelines to each of the 10 horizontal bands, but
selected 100% transparency so that you don't actually see the timelines, yet
milestones and intervals will still "attach" to it.
My problem is that I find that occasionally I need to move some of the
functional bands around, in order to better illustrate certain milestone
relationships without the chart showing more information than is necessary
for that particular group.
So, here's the problem. If I select the functional band only and move it,
the timeline and milestones don't move with it. If I group the timeline,
milestones, and functional band together, they will all move as a group, but
the timeline no longer acts as a timeline, and the milestones are not
attached to a timeline either.
Is there any way to add a timeline and/or milestone to a group without their
losing their essential functionality?
