Timeline formatting in Ganttt chart

Using MS Project 2007. When I customize the timeline in my Gantt chart view,
for example to display fiscal weeks, then I zoom in on the timeline, then
zoom back out again, my customizations are gone. Is this the way it's
supposed to work? How can I keep it displaying fiscal weeks? It seems to have
a mind of it's own.

Hi,

Yes sorry, Zoom changes the setting. If you want to keep the setting, don't
zoom.
You can make a copy of your view (View, More Views, Copy, etc.) and zoom in
the copied view.

Thanks for your help. It's too bad this Project functionality isn't more user
