Timeline Milestone Shapes

How do I resize a timeline milestone shape? I would like to make the triangle
shape a little smaller.

Or alternatively, how do I create a custom shape that behaves like the
existing timeline milestone shapes.

I tried setting the properties of a custom shape to match an existing
timeline shape without success.

I suspect you may be running into some of the addin code. The timeline addin
needs to keep track of both parent and child shapes so that they can stay in
sync with each other. You may have to create your own master in the addin
stencil.
