Is it possible to manually manipulate Actual Work data
entries in the MSP_VIEW_PROJ_ASSN_TP_BY_DAY table and have
those updates appear through MS Project? If so, what data
values are necessary to make these alterations?

We know we can make these modifications through
MSP_TIMEPHASED_DATA, but we do not have a consistent usage
of this feature throughout all projects in the enterprise
and were hoping to utilize the data that currently exists.

Read the document titled projdb.htm which you can find on a computer that
has project installed on it. Do a search and you will find it. It covers the
database and how to update it. You may need to read it several times and do
some experimenting to get it to work the way you want.
