Timephased view in My Tasks

We are running Project Server 2007 with all updates. Our work week starts on
Saturday and ends on the following Friday. The timephased view (grid) in the
My Tasks view always opens displaying the next week and not the current week.

Anyone know why and how to get it to open on the current week?

I'm not sure, but have you tried setting the week starts on: field within
Task settings and display?

Perfect. i saw that and assumed (yes I know) that it addressed when the
payroll week starts (ours runs from Saturday to Friday) and not how the
timephased grid would display in My Tasks.
