Timer based changing of cell text??

I'm new to Web Design and have been asked to update the website of a club I
belong to. One of the changes I would like to incorporate, is the automated
changing of contents of a "News" cell and an "Events" on the Home Page to
allow for quick viewing of a list of upcoming meetings and other special
events. Contents of the cells would be entirely text based with internal
hyperlinks to detailed description pages for each event. Can this be done in
FP 2003 and if so what is the correct code??

Thanks for the help.

If I understand you, what you want is a rolling text display like movie credits,
or the program listings on cable TV. I personally find that type of display
annoying because it's usually either too fast for me to read or too slow for me to
wait until it repeats. Even if it's a scheme where one line gets replaced by
another, then another (on a timer), I think it's still harder to use.

If that's the case, may I suggest a scrolling text box, so that users can see it
all at their pace? My $.02.

Thanks Mike, but what I'm looking for is a complete replacement of the text
every minute or so (sort of like opening a new page within the cell). I agree
wholeheartedly that a scrolling system is a pain. Ideally, my plan would have
three or four sets of text and the cell would alternate between each one
every 1 -2 minutes.

Any ideas??
