Windows XP sp2
Word 2002 sp3
HPLJ1320, HPLJ1200,HPLJ1200
Server 2003 Pro Sp2
Documents sent to network printer from Word 2003 print text blank with Times
New Roman .
Such things as table lines and pictures are OK
Changing to Arial sometimes works.
In one case we have a lab of 12 workstations all with the same hardware and
software images.
The problem affects only two workstations.
I have checked for things within Word that may affect fonts.
I have restarted the spooler on the Server (and the server has been
re-booted several times anyway, while this error has persisted)
I have replaced the Times New Roman font on the workstations
Replaced the HPLJ 1320 driver on the Win2003 server
Replaced the HPLJ 1320 driver on the local workstation
Replaced the the HPLJ1320 driver with the new universal HP driver
The problem has arisen only since moving from Novell NDPS printing to
Server2003 printing (though the same drivers are delivered to workstations.)
My only cost-effectibve solution may be to re-image the workstation.
Any suggestions?
