Timesheet Approval Process

Hi All,

from this link i follow how to set timesheet approval process
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...b1-994f841cac86&cat=&lang=&cr=&sloc=en-us&p=1

in that link, it said:
Cindy McNair must submit her Timesheet to George
Stewart for approval. Once approved, George Stewart must submit Cindy
McNair's timesheet to Mickey Cobb for final approval.

but when i try it, i got message :
Timesheet 'My Timesheet', George, W8 (19/04/2009 - 25/04/2009): Next
approver cannot be either owner or previous approver.
so, mickey cobb can't approve timesheet from Cindy McNair & George Steward.

is there something i miss...

thanks

jonathan....

If i give that user with administrator permission, he can approve all
timesheets. But if remove administrator permission, he can't approve anymore.

thanks

Do you get this error when George approves Cindy's timesheet or when Mickey
approves Cindy's timesheet?

Are George and Mickey both part of the same security group?

Which security group are you using for timesheet approvers, are you using an
out of the box group?

Have you implemented an RBS in your organization?

The users that approve timesheets must be part of a group that has the
global permission 'Accept Timesheets'. You will then also need to play
around with the category permission 'Approve Timesheets'. For example, try
adding a category to your timesheet approver group that gives visibility to
ALL resources in your enterprise resource pool and enable the 'Approve
Timesheets' permission on that category/group relationship. Then test if
this fixes the error message you are seeing.
