Hello,
I am struggling to configure PWA to handle the approval process that we need
for our organization. We fit close to a Matrix style hierarchy, but a little
more meshed.
We have resources submit timesheets to their Timesheet managers, who then
approve and submit them to our top-level approver. Generally straight
forward. However, most of our timesheet managers are also resources who
submit a timesheet to a different timesheet manager, which is then submitted
to our top-level approver.
The problem comes into play when we need the top-level approvers timesheet
to be approved by one of the first level approvers. Here we are getting an
error that there are not category permissions specified for that user. How
can we circumvent this issue? Does project server not allow a manager to be
an approver of a resource if the resource has higher level permissions?
