How can I delete a timesheet classification?

we don't have a dev environment, yet, and created an additional timesheet
classification for experimental purposes...

There is a delete button on the Timesheet Classification page, but when I
select the row I want to delete, the delete button remains inactive...

How can I delete this erroneous timesheet classification?

I read that To preserve historical data (in this case there is none), PS2007
does not allow you to delete the new classification after you create it by
clicking the save button...then why would I have a delete button? I want to
clean up my iddy biddy mess. Can I?

thanks!

You can use the Delete button to delete the classification immediately after
you create it. However, if you navigate away from the page, you can no
longer delete it. I know no way to remove it, therefore, you may just have
to live with it. Given the fact that you don't have a development
environment in which to test things like this, I would recommend that you
cease experimenting with your production system. Instead, I think it's time
to create a new development instance. Hope this helps.

Hello,

Where do we can choose from one Billing category or another : in my
timeskeets the Category cells are not editable.
I found the TS_LINE_CLASS_NAME field in the MSP_ TIMESHEET_CLASSES table.
I'll try to delete one row tomorrow (on a test server ;-)
Thanks
