Timesheet data not being written to database, missing timesheet info

Greetings:

I'm having some issues with timesheets and project data in
Prj Svr 2003.

1) We've had some situations where a project owner has
accepted and updated task time entries from a resource,
gotten no error messages, but the approved entries fail to
show up in the project actuals, and on further review
these time entries still show as red on the resource's
timesheets.

2) Instances where data in a resource's timesheet for an
entire week has vanished for no apparent reason - from the
timesheet as well as from projects - happended in two
different weeks, seperated by a week where things look
just fine.

We have installed Svc Pack 1 - we have seen some odd
behavior after installing it.

Any answers or ideas?

You should always look to the application event log on the Project Server
machine for clues as to what's going wrong. Post errors that you see when
asking questions like this. You should also have a look at:
