Timesheet error blocking all other jobs...

Dear all,
I submit last week my timesheet and actually all the project server 2007
infrastructure is blocked, I tried to delete my last timesheet but the
message provided in the my timesheet page is:
This timesheet is being processed by the system and is unavailable. The data
shown above is that of the last successful save of the timesheet. Changes
have been sent to the server and will process in the order received.
If I check the server settings, manage settings I see a process with me as
owner with these description:
Queue Entry Time 24/09/2007 14.49
Queue Completed Time
Owner My Username
Project Name N/A
Job Type Status Update Rules (Auto-run Rules)
Job State Processing
% complete 0%
Queue Position 1
Queue Type Project

I tried to cancel it from the manage queue view but nothing happens, all
others jobs are waiting this one to finish, all the company employees
submitted themself timesheet without success because of my task waiting to
complete.

Any Idea? Acutally it's an hell here.

Jonathan Sofer

You need to restart the queue service on the front end server. The queue
will get stuck like this for any number of reasons and restarting the queue
service will allow all the jobs to be processed.

Thank you Jonathan I did it but I have still some jobs appended that get
stuck the queue,
for example:

Many
queue type: Timesheet
job type: Notifications

Few but still in queue
queue type: Project
job type: Project Save from Project Professional and Project Checkin

What can I do? I am still blocking so many people.

I found that sometime IE shows a page saying that the connection to db
server is not available and to check if the server is up and running... it's
up!
Sincerely I don't know where is the problem...

It sounds to me like there has been some changes made to your environment on
the servers or to the system accounts you are using to connect to your
servers. I would try and see what those changes might have been by looking
in the event logs on the servers and see what might have changed right
before the errors started occuring. Can you contact your IT group and see
if they changed anything?
