Timesheet Feature for Standalone MSP '03 file?

Is there a feature that allows for me to enter hours worked against project
tasks on a daily timescale?

I see the Task Sheet View, but I seem to be unable to modify the timescale
to show tasks by day.

I'm working with a standalone file with no access to project server. Thanks!

Oscar,
You need to display either Usage view, (i.e. Resource Usage or Task
Usage), and then set the timescale to show days.
