Timesheet fields diabled

Hi,
I have newly setup Project Server2003 and uploaded an existing mpp file. The
issue I am fact the team members are not able to enter actual effort in time
sheet as the fields are disabled. But if I add a new task, it appears in
editable format and people can enter tasks. Only the tasks which were
originally present in the MPP seems to be having an issue. Is there a way to
unlock it and enable timesheet entry?
