Timesheet issues in PS 2003

Julien Leclercq

Hi
We are using PS 2003 to manage time spent by resources on different
projects. But when resources submit their timesheet, the following problems
appears:

1) Eventhough they have correctly sent their timesheet, resources still have
the warning "timesheet have been submitted for the *** period". But for the
resource manager, there is no unsubmitted timesheet

2) When a resource submits a timesheet for a period (by only filling the act
Work and clicking on update all), the resource manager have the warning "you
have 1 timesheet approval" for the concerned period, but also for past
periods, eventhough nothing has been modificated into them

Does somebody see where these problems come from?
If anybody had any clue on 1 ore both of these problems, I would appreciate
it very much

Regards,

Julien

What service pack do you have installed on the server? The first issue
sounds like a problem that was solved some time ago. (My 2003 version memory
is starting to fade)<g> If there is data in the timesheet for past or future
periods, all data is sent when you click update all. Without the ability to
see what's going on, it's difficult to determine whether the user entered
the data or there is some type of corruption going on.

In fact, i didn't have any Service pack installed.
But I installed the Service Pack 2 and it fixed the problems
