We have just implemented Project Server 2007 in-house after having it hosted externally for the last 6 months. We had this same issue occasionally when we were hosted but that vendor did not assist and now we have the issue occurring in house.
Timesheet managers are not able to view tasks details from the timesheet that are in their Timesheet Approvals view. For example Carinda is one of our timesheet managers and when she opens a timesheet that was submitted to her and from the Review Timesheet Detail screen she clicks on a task. But instead of getting the Assignment Details for the tasks she clicked on she get this:
You do not have sufficient permissions to view the specified page. Please contact your administrator for permissions to view this page.
As the error message implies, It seems to be a permissions issue. Here is her current security profile:
Portfolio Managers
Project Managers
Resource Managers
Team Leads
Team Members
