Timesheet problems - incorrect data accumulating, another PS bug?

Hi

I am having trouble with project server timesheets. When a resource's
timesheet is changed in the Timesheet section of Approvals the project
databases don't seem to change correctly for example:

Resource 1 submits a timesheet with task 1 containing 10 hours.

Using the timesheet approvals section I change the time recorded for task1
to 20 hours and save, reports now show 30 hours. I change this again to 15
hours again, reports now show 45 hours etc. etc. It seems that any changes
are accumulated whenever they are made using the timesheet approvals
interface, the more you change the bigger the numbers get.

If a resource then recalls their timesheet and resubmits it the data is
still incorrect unless they actually make a change to the values for this
task on the task. E.g. the timesheet above would show 15 hours for task1 in
the timesheet itself (but 45 hours in the reporting database). If no change
was made to this 15 hours then the reports would still be wrong, if the 15
hours was changed to 14 hours then the reports would now show 14 hours, the
correct value.

I’m using Project Server 2007 and the data is showing incorrectly in cubes
and reporting databases.

I can only assume that this is a bug as I can't imagine that this behaviour
is intentional.

Regards

Andrew
