Timesheet Status - unsubmitted time

There are five timesheet status(s) in the Reporting DB.

They are :

- InProgress=0
- Submitted=1
- Acceptable=2
- Approved=3
- Rejected=4.

I'd like to understand what In-Progress status encompass. If a resource is
out-of the-office (unplanned) and therefore does not create timesheet, would
there be a timesheet entry. I am guessing not. In that case, is it possible
to determine if the resource is "required" to submit a timesheet, but has
not.

Appreciate any insight.

InProgress means the timesheet is created and in the status of InProgress,
meaning has been saved but not submitted.

There is no way out of the box to determine if a resource should have
created a timesheet or not. One way to determine this is to looked at the
timephased assignment work in dbo.MSP_EpmAssignmentByDay to see if the
resource had any work scheduled. This assumes the PMs have accurate
schedules in play.

Thanks Jonathan, this is helpful.

Between your suggestion below, plus determining if the resource submitted a
timesheet for a period in recent past, might give me some fuzzy logic to
identify potential non-compliance. Also, I'd have to determine if the
resource has/has not left the team/resource pool (don't know how, yet)

I believe that team membership on a project can only be determined from the
published database which Microsoft does not support.
