timesheet to Project Pro/Project Server database - actuals not writing over

Problem:

Had one of our project leads report a spooler error today
(0x8004E14 - database error) referencing file
MSPJ0000.MTM - no clue what that message means.

While investigating this - we found that the project
actuals reported by resources on this project are not
saved into the project during a two week period - the
hours entries show as red on the resources timesheets, as
blue on my admin screen when I look at their timesheets.

I audited some of our other projects and found one other
project with similar symptoms, except the resource's hours
entries show up in red on their timesheet when I look at
it as an administrator.

Anyone have any idea what I am seeing here and perhaps how
to fix it?

Thanks,
SBelling

verify that all of the resources on those projects are in
the enterprise resource pool correctly. We had a similar
issue and this is what cause it.

I, and others have had the same problem. Mine was caused by inactivating a
resource that still had remaining work on projects. I believe you have now
lost the hours worked for that period. I know of no way to recover that
data after a spooler error.
