Timesheet week in Data Analysis

D

Dots

I am using Project Server 2007 and my work week is Monday thru Sunday.
However, when I go to Data Analysis, the timesheet view only shows Monday
thru Saturday. How can I reconfigure this to show Monday thru Sunday?

Thanks, Dots

Assaf,

Thanks. I have seen this post. My analysis cube already starts on a Monday
but only shows thru Saturday for the week. I want to have the cube show my
week as Monday thru sunday so when I drill down to the week I get the full 7
days, Monday thru Sunday rather than Monday thru Saturday. Any ideas?

Also, I do not see an MSP_TimeByDay in my analysis cube. Should this be
there automatically? Am I just not looking in the correct place? Help! :)

I need to correct myself. My default is starting Sunday. I have found the
db referred to and will try this change. I'll let you know! Thanks!

Hi Dorothy,
MSP_TimeByDay is found in the reporting db, is this what you were looking for?
Keep us posted with this
Good luck

Assaf,

I ran the TSQL to change the MSP_TimebyDay to 1 and when I execute I see my
week beginning MOnday and ending sunday. But when I rebuild my cube and look
at the view in data analysis I still only see Monday to Saturday. Why? Is
there something I need to be doing in the cube itself to show Sunday as the
last day of our week in the Data Analysis view?

Hi Dorothy,
Did you check the sql if it's still updated?
Maybe it got reset somehow?

Use the timesheet period dimension to provide the analysis you
require.

Mike,

This does work! Thanks so much. I dind't even have to change the SQL query
to see this. But, why don't I see Monday to Sunday using the Timesheet
dimension? I would think they would reflect same day range?

Mike,

Another correction to myself. I figured this out, and it is working fine.
My comment about the timesheet db was an out of mind moment, as that is what
is being used. I just was not using the correct dimension to get the view I
wanted. All is very, very good.

Thanks for your direction! I appreciate it!
