TimeSheets Entry Problem (pls reply me soon)

Hi,

(1). I see in time sheet when resource enter their hours timesheet show
those hours in RED color.
and when manager accept those hours and UPDATE this .then it will show in
BLACK color in the Resource TimeSheet.
(I am correct assumption or wrong)

(2). I want to know when the resource enter their hours in TIMESHEET and
submit this timesheet those hours or columns of those days must be hidden
that means the next day resource will cant see the previous submitted days .
and he will not be able to change the previous days hours and submit.
How I can authenticate this and confirm this as an administrator.

I dont want to allow the resources that they will come on next day and
change the hours of previous day Tasks and submit again those previous
entries.

pls tell me answer in detail.

Basim --

1. Your assumption is correct.

2. This is a training and performance issue. I am not aware of method to
prevent people from changing actuals entered during the current time period.
Using the Managed Time Periods feature in Project Server can lock actuals
entered in past closed time periods.
