Timezones are set to Casablanca, Monrovia. HELP!

E

Ernie

I've noticed all of my reminders are popping up a day early.

I looked at the event and it is telling me it is set to Casablanca, Monrovia.

I am in Eastern Time Zone, US.

Is there a way to fix this without having to manually update all of my events??

I tried creating a custom calendar view to display anything with Casablanca in the Time Zone but it does not display any items.

Help!

You may have to write a script to change time zones of all existing events.
Otherwise, you have to do it manually.

To prevent this happen to your new events, please go to your calendar
preference (Entourage -> Preference, select "calendar" from the list) and
set your "Default time zone for new events" to Eastern.

Thanks
Mu

Hello and thank you for this info. My computer settings as well as MS Office Default time zone have always been set to Eastern Time. It has never been changed, so how could my events become set to Casablanca, Monrovia??

Is this part of the sync services issue? I had tons of duplicate all day events in my calendar due to the sync problem.

Unfortunately, I am very unfamiliar with Applescript. Do you know if there are there scripts in existence that will change time zones on events?

Thank you!
