Tiny print in entourage but fine in rest of Office X and Office 2004

Everything I preview and print from Entourage comes out tiny.
I currently use Entourage 2004 ver 11.2.1 on a G4 1.25ghz 1.25gb RAM on
OS X 10.4.3. I am printing on either a Laserjet 5500n, or Deskjet
940c.

All other programs print fine on both printers.

Some solutions I have already tried:
Trashing all entourage preference files
reinstall entourage
delete and reinstall all printers
backup system and reinstall OS and all apps from CD

the only thing that has any success is creating a new identity. The
curious thing is this. When I go to print in the new Entourage
Identity the print dialog box is the system print dialog box NOT the
microsoft print dialog boix thhat shows up in Entourage. However I
cannot use the new Identioy becaseu Entourage 2004 does not have an
import wizard to bring mail from Entourage 2004!!!

This is definitely a problem between Entourage adn the printer driver.
Because all toher Microsoft adn system apps have no problems it must be
entourage. If anyone knows any solutions please let me know. I am
sick of copying text from emails into word in order to print them out.

Within the prefs there is a setting (under the 'fonts' section) for the font
style & size for printed items.

Dear Barry,

Thanks for replying. I have tried changing the fonts and font sizes
and after the reinstall I chose entirely new fonts and experimented
with different sizes. it made no difference. Even when I manually
change the font size within an email message using the increase font
toolbar button it still comes out as tiny print.

[John''s Entourage Problems]

I have similar problems using Entourage when I compose using HTML. My
colleagues receive my emails with font size 8. I tried to change the font,
etc. with no success. For now, I compose all emails using Plain Text. I think
it is time for MAC Mail or Thunderbird.

This old horse has been kicked and kicked. Entourage's behavior is odd at
best and plain text is the only sane way to beat it--I agree!

The problem seems to be that the message "page width" is not understood
anymore by Entourage at print time. It tries to fit long lines to the
print page and scales everything accordingly. You can see this on the
display when by dragging the window width for a message displayed the
message is automatically fitted to the page width. Nice for the
display but not too good when printing.
Why this happens to some and not others I cann't explain. We have 4
Macs (PBs and iMacs) in the office and they all exhibit this problem.
