.tip and .dat files

While I am working on the word document it would
create .tip file or .dat file why is it doing that and
what could i do to fix this problem.

I did reinstall the office software again...I don't know
if that would stop the problem.

Please help me

By design, Word creates some temporary files while you are working on a
document, and Word normally deletes these temporary files when you exit
close the document or when you exit. See
