TIP button doesn't appear when I tap inside a text box.

Tablet PC TIP button doesn't appear when I first place the cursor inside
an existing text box using the stylus. I hold the stylus in the correct
position over the cursor yet the TIP button doesn't appear. If I tap
outside the box then the TIP button appears.

I have found that it never appears the first time I place the cursor
inside a text box. However, if I tap in a different location within that
same text box then it appears.

This sounds like a Vista beta issue, correct? If so, please use the
technical beta facilities to report the issues, and not this newsgroup, and
hopefully you gave the beta team more information to go on, like the
location of the problem, what Tablet PC you're on, which drivers you're
using, etc. We don't really support unreleased beta products here.

This sounds like a Vista beta issue, correct?

I neglected to mention that this is a problem in OneNote 2007 beta 2 on a
standard Win XP Tablet PC edition machine with all the latest patches.
The problem is in OneNote and OneNote alone.

I can cofirm that this happens on my tablet (HP tc1100) under XP
TabletPC too. Not always but often.
