Just a reminder, folks:
Microsoft NEVER sends updates by email or as posts to the newsgroups.
Most of the MS newsgroups discourage attachments of any sort.
So for your own protection, it's safe to assume that
IF A NEWSGROUP MESSAGE HAS AN ATTACHMENT, IT'S A VIRUS
You'll also see messages asking you to click on links. Use your best
judgement, but if they're links to anything but HTML files, don't go there.
Anything with an EXE or SCR extension (among others) is almost surely going
to bite you.
