To-do-bar - maximize in calendar view, minimize in mail view

Is it possible to have a default setup where the To-Do-Bar is always
maximized in the calendar view and always minimized in the mail view? When
I read my mail I always have to minimize the To-Do-Bar to better see my
mail.
