To Do bar task list (2007)

The task list on my ToDo bar no longer appears. There a message: "The
operation failed. An object could not be found."
How do I restore the list?

Thanks.

Start by opening outlook using the /resettodobar switch. Close Outlook.
Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog and type
outlook.exe /resettodobar
then press enter. Make sure you have a space between outlook.exe and
/resettodobar.

I tried this after getting the same error message in my To-Do Bar. It did not
work: I still have a blank where the "task list" should appear on the To-Do
Bar, and the message "The opeation failed. An object could not be found.
Also, when I go to To-Do List under Tasks on the left menu bar, I get the
message "Cannot display the folder." Please help!

I have also tried resetting the to do bar, but still have an error with the
tasks in Outlook. They appear very briefly on the to do bar, and then scroll
uncontrollably to a blank screen which then crashes the system! When I click
