To-Do List | Start/Finish Dates set to Current Date and not editab

Hello,

When I create a new To-Do List I cannot change the start and finish dates. I
receive a message 'Press SPACEBAR or ENTER to activiate and use this
control'. On doing so, the date is set to current date and the control does
not allow the user to change it.

The dates can be changed once the list has been created.

Any help would be appreciated.
