To Get a Degree or Not?

Hi:

I appologize if these site isn't really exactly intended for this type
of question or not, but anyway, I've been trying to e-mail the Cyber
Advisors at the school that I have some credit hours toward an A.S.
Degree --St. Petersburg College, Florida--actually have received a
Microsoft Office certificate.

The problem I have in weighing whether it's worth going back to school
& paying for what I need to pay is know what the statistics are for the
people that actually have an A.S. Degree actually getting a job or work
in a related field. Does anybody have any suggestions in getting the
answer to this?

Thanks very much in advanced for any response.

Generally, the higher one's education, the higher one's salary.

Whatever one's education level, an increasing number employers are finding
an ever greater need for employees who:
1. Have a rudimentary understanding of English grammar.
2. Have a rudimentary grasp of English composition.
3. Have a rudimentary familiararity with the methods of information
searches.

If you were a middle-school student, I would grade your writing sample as
follows:
#1: D- minus
#2: F
#3: F- minus

Clearly, whether or not you pursue a degree, your employment outlook will
improve considerably if you address these glaring weaknesses.
