to recover document not saved

While writing a report today for my son, the computer went ape--froze and I was impelled to rebut.
In the process I've lost the document. Could someone outhere please HELP

No, because your document, if it was not saved, is gone forever. If it
was not saved to disk, it was in your computer's memory; and that
memory is erased when you reboot. If you were using Microsoft Word you
might check the disk to see if a backup copy was saved, but most
likely it's gone for good.

Note that Microsoft Access(TM) is a database program, part of the
Office suite; this newsgroup is for support of that program, not for
general computer questions.
