to speed up excel

i am new in this form, i have a question. i am using excel 2003. in a work
book am creating more sheets for the easy working. but now it take more time
to open . how can i solve this problem.please advice me

You could set calculation to xlManual so it only calculates when you
press F9 but the problem is probably due to volatile functions, check
out Charles Williams site and explanation, be sure to follow all his

Too many formulas for the size, too many rows/columns not needed. Probably
better to have ONE sheet and filter.
