I am working on a contract that has been handed down from one person to the
next so there are many formatting issues I am trying to work out. It has a
TOC which seems to have some links to headers, but there are other TOC items
that don't seem to be linked. The multi-level numbering scheme seems to have
been both auto-formatted and manually manipulated. Suffice it to say, it's a
big mess. Without having to start all over, is there anyway to fix it? I
wondered if it is possible to remove all formatting and then program in the
multi-level list style that will generate an auto linked TOC. I am venturing
into unknown territory as a beginner to such a seemingly advanced process.
