ToC page from... to

Adrian

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if its possible to produce a table of
contents that will, instead of just producing a single
page number at the occurence of a ToC style ie:

Letter................1
Item details..........2
Close.................40

But produce one that shows the span of pages that occur
from the first occurence of a particular style until just
before the occurence of the next style. ie:

Letter...............1
Item details........2 - 39
Close................40

Any help would be appreciated

Adrian

You could do this manually, but there's no way to get Word's TOC field to do
it. In any case, this should be quite unnecessary: the whole idea of a TOC
is that it directs you to the beginning of a chapter or section, which is
presumed to end when the next one starts.
