TOC page numbering

I have a TOC created from 3 different headers, and each level uses a
somewhat different font. The 3rd level is in italics. Is there any way to
have the text be in italics, but the page number show as non-italicized,
like the other page numbers are?

Thanks

Unfortunately, no, though this feature has been repeatedly requested. Your
only recourse is to wait till editing is complete, then unlink the TOC and
format it as desired.

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks Suzanne.

I don't know if it's still there or not, but for a time there was a TOC
tutorial at Office Online that showed a screen shot of a TOC with italic
entries and roman numbering (or perhaps vice versa). I pointed out to the
author that this was not possible in a straightforward TOC, and she more or
less shrugged and said it would be too much trouble to change the (obviously
fudged) screen shot. I thought this was unfortunate, as it raised false
expectations.
