In Word 2003, XP, a document seems OK over-all, but when it's emailed and
opened from the email (Outlook), the TOC gets in trouble. When the document
is first opened from email, it's in Reading View, and the TOC is correct. But
when the document is changed to Print View, all the page numbers from 3 on
are reset to 3, which is the page with the TOC. When the doc is put back in
Reading View, the page numbers stay wrong-- they do not go back to the
correct numbers.
The only TOC field option in use is \u, and no styles are specified. That is,
only standard headings are part of it. This problem doesn't happen when the
doc is opened normally. Any advice appreciated.
