TOC Saving Error

We are having a problem with the format of a TOC not saving in Word 2003. We
have generated a report using the professional report template. The TOC has
been inserted and the Classic format selected with 3 levels showing. This
looks perfect on the screen. The report is printed and saved. When we
re-opened the document, the classic format is gone and the TOC displays as
the From template format would but with only one level. Any
ideas/suggestions for preventing this or why it's happening?

Hi csm,

What do you see if the select the TOC and press F9? And what do you see if you press Shift-F9?

Also, are you sure the document was saved *after* the TOC was updated, and not before?
