TOC text different to actual document Headers

J

john.

In a word 2008 document I have a heading that begins with a lower case
character, this is deliberate. But in the TOC (Table of Contents) the
character is forced to be a Capital which is wrong....... how do I
change this?

Thanks

John

Hi John,

You can achieve what you're after by changing the format of the relevant TOC-level Style. In fact, you'll quite possibly find the
TOC styles are set to 'automaically update', so simply selecting one of the offending lines and reformatting it could update the
formatting for all TOC entries at that level.
