TOC troubles

Hello,
When we attempt to generate a TOC, the "right-align" page
numbers checkbox is grayed out. Once generated, the page
numbers appear immediately after the heading text (we use
headings 1-3 for the TOC). We just can't seem to track
this one down.

This option is not available unless you've already checked "Show page
numbers," but that doesn't sound like your problem. I have never seen this
problem in the dialog itself, but I have had page numbers lose their right
alignment when one of the TOC styles was centered (even though page numbers
were omitted for that style). I had to tinker with the TOC field code to
straighten it out. You may also have to manually replace the right tab stop
in the TOC styles.

Thanks so much, Suzanne. It was indeed the center-aligned
TOC1 style.
