toggle between marking comments?

Sometimes it’s useful to add [your name] when commenting to a thread inline;
other times it gets in the way and I want to edit text that I am forwarding
to someone else (shorten it, highlight pertinent info, etc).

Is there an easy toggle/keyboard shortcut to switch between these two states
on the fly? (as opposed to having to go to *Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Mark
my comments with* each time)

thanks!

There isn't a quick way to toggle the setting off and on, but you can hit
ctrl+z to undo it as you type. That of course, works best if you want most
replies marked.

Autocomplete would be a good option for occasionally marking messages - set
up something like [[ converts to [your_name]
