Toggling between Word docs with Word2008

I just switched to Word2008 from the 2004 version, and the old Command+Tilde doesn't work for toggling between open Word application documents.

Has anyone suffered the same? Solutions? Thanks in advance.

I've never used that before, but I just tried it and it worked fine.

If you go to Tools > Customize Keyboard you can set your command key
combinations. I couldn't find the particular one you're referring to.

Another friend who uses Word2008 got his to work, too. I also checked Customize Keyboard, and it does not mention that command. Under Help there is no mention of it, either.

Word's own commands are called NextWindow and PrevWindow, under the
Window and Help category. This isn't the same as cmd-tilde, which is
managed by the OS, but should let you achieve a similar function.

Cmd-tilde works in Word 2008 here, too. I suspect rebooting or something
might re-activate yours. Try some basic OS maintenance.

Also, you might have a look in AppleMenu>Preferences to see if the keystroke
has been usurped by something else (in Leopard?). Office 2008 isn't at
fault - Command+~ works fine for me as it does for the others, but I'm NOT
using Leopard [once the consumer world has completed Apple's quality control
checks & the product is *finally* ready for market I might give it a go:)]

Do you have any "haxies" or other utilities that might be commandeering the
keystroke?
