too large file attached to e-mail

I stupidly attached too large of a file to an e-mail and Outlook simply can't
finish sending the e-mail before it times out. Outlook won't let me delete
the e-mail, as it is in my outbox and I get a message that, "the e-mail is
already being sent." Of course, it never actually gets sent. It is slowing
everything down and preventing me from sending other e-mails. Any idea how
to delete it or stop Outlook from continuing to try to send it?
