too many client tasks. queries in excel

Is there a limit to the number of access queries that can
be run to populate an excel spreadsheet? I get the
error "too many client tasks"

I have about 57 queries in a single access database that
populate a several sheets in an excel work book. There are
also formulas based on the quey results and graphs that
are linked to powerpoint

I think you will want to ask this in one of the Excel groups, Tim. Not
sure this is really a PPT problem, to be honest.

Heh. This article (from 2001) is the only thing I can find when I run a
KB search on "client tasks." Is it at all relevant? (Doesn't seem that
it is...) http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;EN-US;Q154869

Oh, wait, there's also 816296 and 124617, but they don't seem relevant,
either.
