"too many different cell formats" after EditClearing lots Formats

How many formats are allowed in A sheet?
and in a Spreadsheet?
How is easiest way to prevent message and to tell how many formats are
presently used?
I have a Huge spreadsheet with many tabs, and after I Edit, Clear Formats, I
still cannot format number cells with ",0".
Help!!

Hi,

Here are two limits that my be affecting you:


Cell styles in a workbook 4,000
Custom number formats Between 200 and 250, depending on the language version
of Excel you have installed.
