Too many fields defined - crosstab query export

Hi

I have 4 queries, two of which are crosstab queries that I am exporting to
Excel using VB. I have checked the number of fields in all queries and there
are a max of 50. (Although across all four there would be about 106 max)

I intermittently get the 'Too many fields defined' error and one of my
queries does not export - usually the last query on my list.

I'm not sure how to solve this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
