We have taken over a small business with an exchange server running with 4
clients.
They have a problem with space on drive C: (less than 400Mb !)
I have found the message logs folder which has around 8Gb of log files each
5120Kb in size. They informed me they had been told by the previous parent
company that they should never delete these files so have left them there,
even though some are dated 2003!
The backup has been run 5 times a week for the past year and I would have
expected those log files to be removed, but they haven't.
All 4 users have deleted everything in their mailboxes that is more tham 2
months old.
Can I just delete these files prior to 2 months ago or is there a cleanup
method from with SBS2000 ?
Again, Any advice appreciated
