Tool -> Customize -> Fields -> customize fields

Hi

I’m using project Professional 2003 and I want to edit existing custom field
which are available at Tool -> Customize -> Fields -> customize fields tab as
a Text1 field.
My problem is that when I’m open my Enterprise Global for editing in this
field but that option is disabled.
Why I want to do this -- because we want to add some more value(in above
text field) in our enterprise templates. Presently this field is available in
all templates.
Any method for edit / add some more value in existing fields and after that,
those values will be available in our enterprise templates also.

Nitesh --

You need to open the Enterprise Global file for editing and then click
Tools - Customize - Enterprise Fields instead of the process you have
attempted to use. Hope this helps.

Nitesh:

You can only edit "ENTERPRISE" custom fields and include them in the
Enterprise Global. You cannot edit the standard fields for enterprise use.
These are reserved for local use only.
