I am using Outlook 2003 with all the latest updates.
ALL the default toolbars work fine.
However, I have created a custom toolbar for Reply, Forward and a few
other similar icons/commands. Each time I restart Outlook, these icons
dissapear.
The elusive icons/commands include:
Reply
Reply to All
Forward
Delete
(There are a few more as well.)
Also, I have separate custom toolbars for viewing an email message and
composing an email message but Outlook will only show the one same
toolbar for both (whichever was last set).
And finally, when Word 2003 is set as the editor for HTML messages, it
puts up the Word toolbars plus one other toolbar that is fixed. You
cannot customise either of these toolbars. I can easily go and
customise the Word toolbar from Word. However, the other Outlook toobar
that shows up here seems to be locked. Once again, I would like to be
using my own custom toolbar for composing messages. When I don't have
Word 2003 as the editor, I can use a custom toolbar and it work fine,
except the the problem I mentioned above about it staying the same for
compose & view messages.
As a side note: One of the more recent Office updates does not install
properly my laptop. It may be because I have IE 7.0 Beta 3 installed.
That has caused one minor issue with Norton Internet Security 2006.
