Toolbar positioning and contents

J

Joco

Hi,
I am trying to lock the position of my toolbars, and prevent some toolbars
from showing. If I select Tools>Customise and uncheck two boxes(PDFmaker7 and
Avery Assistant) they dissapear. Next time I load Outlook 2003 the reappear,
so I then have four rows of toolbars.
I have tried to reposition the toolbars, but after exiting and reloading
they revert to thier origininal positions in four rows.
The other toolbar with check boxes ticked are, standard, menu bar and custom 1
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, this is really frustrating.
Thanks Joco from London

Only the add-in vendor can make the changes necessary to their programs to allow user preferences to be saved. There's nothing you as a user can do about this, because the add-in toolbars are created fresh every time you run Outlook.

If you don't want those add-ins' toolbars showing, maybe you should disable the add-ins?
